One of the greatest character building moments in the remake of Ocean’s 11 involved an RC monster truck and a real monster truck. The characters in the scene are brothers and the director is trying to establish that they are always in fierce (and sometimes just plain stupid) competition against each other. One of them is a tech-geek and the other is a muscle head and so what better way to show off their competition than with an RC monster truck racing an actual sized monster truck?

The tech-geek in the movie must have been reading some of the articles on RC Monster Truck Review because he believes that his RC monster truck can out pace the real monster truck. The other brother thinks differently and so they have a race. Towards the middle of the race the little RC car seems to be winning until, OH NO, the big car runs over the little car. Game over.
