The other month I read an story about the pre-purchase build report. The story detailed some changes that may be coming to this weird and wonderful industry. The changes actually apply to the pre-auction market rather than the pre-purchase market.

You see - what happens at the moment is - when you are going to buy a house at auction you need to have access to building inspections - so you need to pay up to $500 for a combined building and pest inspection before you even bid for the property - so if you do not win the auction and purchase the house - then you lose your $500. Then you get to do it all over again.

So what the governments are talking about doing is - making the seller to purchase a combined building and pest report and then make it available for all potential buyers at the auction. What happens then is - the successful bidder (if there is one) will need to pay the seller for the report they had ordered.

It is my view that this is a great thing for the Real Estate Industry in NSW, it will encourage| more people to view auctions and hopefully increase clearance figures.

2. Rare Recipes - You’ll find these on the auction house frequently at much lower prices than they should be. Check with

WoWhead and check how much they are worth, and if they are underpriced,

snatch them up and relist them. It’s an easy way to make

a few hundred gold in one auction.

3. Event items - Items such as small eggs, glasses of milk, or anything else that is

used in a repeating in-game event. Stockpile these in advance, and then sell them en masse at inflated prices for a

giant infusion of gold.

Those 3 markets will give you a huge head start in the wow auction house. If you

can’t make gold in those markets, you should probably stick to grinding or daily quests!

If you’re toying with buying a repossessed boat you have to find credit unions or lenders in general who finance boats regularly and are dependable to keep you on alert of new inventory. Not as simple as you would think. As it turns out most banks already have an ongoing relationship with a local or regional auction house.
