Decorating a nursery for a baby is an absolute joy; the crib is the cornerstone of the nursery and a big part of the crib is the baby bedding. From simple cotton sheets to elaborate brushed-flannel and print sets, the varieties of baby bedding available to today’s parents are almost endless.

Choosing a crib set is a joyous way to get an area ready for the new baby. It is certainly tempting to purchase many available items to outfit baby’s crib, but the truth is it is far safer to have fewer items to reduce hazards in the crib. Because loose, soft objects in the crib may present a choking hazard, the majority of doctors believe that blankets and similar objects shouldn’t be kept in the crib.
